An adult patient with ongoing bleeding for 3 hours went into cardiac arrest.
    – C.p.r. was started for him.
    – No blood or fluids resuscitation.
    – No controling of bleeding source.

The question: How long could he stay alive?

    • ACLS says

It would be unlikely that he would survive if there was significant blood loss. Fluid and blood administration would be a propriety such a situation as you describe. Kind regards, Jeff
